General
Q:  What is Erenewals / online new product registrations?
A:  Erenewals and online new product registrations are services provided by Kelly Registration Systems. They are electronic methods available for individuals to process their registration / license renewals via the internet, as opposed to a paper-based method.  Registrants / companies may submit funds via paper check or credit card, and in cases where multiple states may be processed at the same time, registrants / companies may combine company information into one order and one payment . 

Once Kelly Registration Systems receives payment for an order, we submit the data and renewal /registration funds to each applicable state. 

Q:  Will I receive my approval notice from the state faster if I use Erenewals than if I send my renewals in by the paper method?
A: States will vary in their response time.  However, since some states directly import the files sent to them from Kelly Registration Systems, the turn-around time is greatly reduced.  Some states are able to print certificates of registrations the same day that they receive data from KRS.  . 

Q:  Must Erenewals / new product registrations be used during certain times or days?
A:  No.  Erenewals is available 24/7.  However, renewal activity may only be available during the standard renewal cycle for a specific state and/or program.  States and programs differ on whether they wish to allow for registrations / licenses to continue well after the renewal period. 

Q:  Can I register new products?
A:  Some states do allow for the registration of new products or licenses.  For a list of available programs and participating states, please visit www.kellysolutions.com/erenewals

Q:  How difficult is the process to use Erenewals or register new products online?
A:  Only basic computer skills and knowledge of the paper renewal / registration process is required to participate in Erenewals. For states that require documentation to be submitted as part of the renewal cycle (such as product labels), the registrant will need a non-secured PDF for each applicable product and document type (label, MSDS, etc) required.

Q:  Do I need a specific browser to use Erenewals?
A:  No.  Erenewals is compatible with Internet Explorer 4 (or higher) and Netscape 4 (or higher)

Type Of Renewals Available
Q:  What renewal programs are covered by Erenewals?
A:  Kelly Registrations launched with Pesticide product renewals in December of 2000, and has expanded into a variety of other programs, such as Feed, Petro, Dealer, Applicator and Antifreeze license programs.  For a complete list of programs, please visit www.kellysolutions.com/erenewals 

Fees
Q:  How much does it cost to register or renew products / licenses electronically?
A:  For most renewal and new product registrations, the user will incur a convenience fee for each product.  This fee will vary, based on the state and license type selected.  For pesticide products, a complete list of participating states and convenience fee information is provided online.  For other programs, we will soon be adding this feature. 

If you choose to pay by debit or credit card, an additional fee will be applied towards the balance due, in the amount of 4.6% for Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards, to cover applicable debit or credit card transaction fees incurred by Kelly Registration Systems.  

Q:  I started to process my products, but I was asked various questions in the process.  What is the purpose of those?
A:  Some states require information  such as the confirmation of a product's active ingredient, or verifying that products you wish to cancel should no longer be found for sale in the state.  To comply with these state requirements, simply select the appropriate action, and continue with your order.  


Supporting Documentation
Q:  The state requires supporting documents to be included with my renewals.  How can I submit documentation with Erenewals?
A:  Kelly Registration Systems has created a web-based program that works in conjunction with Erenewals.  The program, Document Submit, allows the user to submit supporting documentation, such as product labels, MSDS's, etc., to the state at the same time that products are processed in Erenewals.  The only requirement is that all documentation must be saved as an unsecured PDF.  (Printable Document Format.)

Paper Trail
Q:  Will I be able to print a copy of my submission?
A:  At the end of the process, users will have the ability to print out a copy of their transaction, including the product names, EPA ID numbers, (if applicable) and the status of each product, whether they were registered as new products, renewed, discontinued, or cancelled.   A copy of the receipt will also be emailed to the email address that you entered into our electronic renewal system

Q:  Will I get a confirmation of approval?
A:  Most states will send confirmation of approvals in the same manner that you are accustomed to.  However, states may send an electronic approve notice, in lieu of the paper certificate 

Security Issues
Q:  Does everyone have access to my data?
A:  Each company (or their acting agent) registered in the state is given a username and password that is unique.  Each company/agent only has access to their own registration data.  Username and password information is only provided to one person, per company.  Individuals within that company are welcome to share the information if desired, but Kelly Registrations will only provide the log in data to one individual, per company.

Q:  I lost my password.  What can I do to get it back?
A:  Please visit our Erenewals home page, and select the type of program that you are interested in (pesticide products, feed, etc.)  Once accessing the applicable program, a list of appropriate contacts will be provided. 

Q:  How can I be sure that my debit or credit card information is transmitted securely?
A:  Kelly Registration Systems uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) through Verisign for debit and credit card transactions, to ensure that all information is transmitted over the internet securely. 

Privacy Policy
Q: Will Kelly Registration Systems sell my information (such as products registered, email address) to anyone?
A:  No.  All data will be kept strictly between Kelly Registration Systems and the state.  Upon occasion, you may receive an email notice if a new state participates in an electronic renewal/registration program,.  However, your information will never be sold to a third party. 

Payment
Q:  What methods of payment can I use for Erenewals?
A:  Payment may be made by paper check or by credit card.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.   If you elect to pay by check, we require a five day holding period on all checks, to ensure that funds are sufficient, before we can apply the payment to process your order, and then submit the data and funds to each state..  

Q:  How is my check matched up with my renewal order?
A:  For check orders, please be sure to write your order number on the memo line of the check. 

Q:  Since my renewals will be submitted electronically, how late can I wait to submit payment?
A:  This deadline will vary, based by state.  Some states allow registrants to process their electronic renewals through us, up to the day before the registrations expire.  For a majority of states, particularly the end-of-year renewal states, we must submit our information and payments one business day prior to the state's deadline.    Erenewals orders that are created / processed 'on' the state's deadline will not be sent to them until the following business day, which would then require the application of late fees.

As a reminder, payments by check must be received by KRS, no later than five business days, prior to the state's expiration date.  Checks received after this cut-off time may not clear in time to be submitted before the state's deadline, and applicable late fees may be assessed.  

Q:  Can I send Kelly Registration Systems my data, but send the check to the state?
A:  No.  The payment and renewal data must both be submitted to Kelly Registration Systems.

Q:  If I pay by check, what is the mailing address?

This address will also be provided during the Erenewals process, once you elect to submit payment by check.
